I am a little biased with this brand, Revoderm, because it is developed and manufactured by my dermatologist. He is amazing, and if you ever need a new one I highly recommend going to see Dr. Ken Alanen over at Derm.ca. I use their cleanser, day cream, and a night cream for acne prone skin that they have and I honestly can say it’s the only line of products that have helped clear up my skin.
I heard about the TightenUp Pumpkin Mask during a chemical peel there and the lady recommended using it every two weeks, to keep my skin looking fresh and smooth. It has little pumice granules in it that provide a little exfoliation as you apply it. The pumpkin enzymes and antioxidants in the self-warming mask, increase cellular regeneration and refi¬ne pore size.
It is good for anti-aging, but I use it for the detoxifying and hydrating benefits that it gives to my acne prone skin.
If I have the time, I like to cleanse my face first and the steam it for 10-15 minutes to open up my pores. Then I apply the mask and leave it on usually for 15-20 minutes (this is a great time period to paint my nails, or catch up on my stack of magazines that I have). After I wash it off, I actually like to steam my face again for about 5-10 minutes and then rinse it with cold water to close my pores. I pat it dry and then apply a moisturizing night cream that doesn’t have any extra ingredients in it. The whole process leaves my face feeling cleanses, refreshed and healthy. I really try to do this once every two weeks.
