I’m not sure what was in this space before Parc opened up a couple months ago, but there is no way it was as nice as it is now. Walking in you feel like you have been transported to France. The tiling, the mirrors, the lights, the clocks, even the waiters add to the French aura of Parc. The restaurant is massive, and also has a patio. What would fill up another tiny brunch place in Calgary, only filled up half of this place, making it ideal to have brunch without the lineups.

We started off with lattes, and were offered the daily specials which included pastry specials as well as a main meal. It all sounded so lovely it was hard to choose what to order. We both opted for the eggs benedict; I had the eliquin ham and Meighan had the smoked salmon. I have to say it was probably the best eggs benedict I have had in Calgary, I will definitely be going back for another. We were presented with the dessert menu at the end of the meal, but our full stomachs prevented us from ordered. It sounded absolutely delicious though, the crème brûlée popped out at me.

I highly recommend trying this place out; they also have a lunch/dinner menu to try out. It’s in such a good location too, right in the middle of 17th to walk around after, checking out the shops, grabbing another coffee, etc.
