Inglewood has to be one of my favourite areas of the city. It has that small town, rustic feel while offering cozy restaurants, hipster stores, and just a cool area to walk around in near the river. I had never been to The Nash before, but it was definitely on my brunch bucket list. My mom booked it for my sister’s going away brunch (they even let you make reservations!) and it was amazing.
I loved the interior design of the place. All the tables were hand made, and the white ceilings gave it a rustic-modern look. They have a cozy fireplace, and had live music while we were there. The only problem with the restaurant itself was the low ceilings, and especially with the live music, it was a little hard to hear people across the table.
We started off with the “Must Have” Cinnamon Roll which changes every weekend. When we were there it was praline and chocolate and obviously it was delicious. It was fairly big and we were able to share it between 5 people. They didn’t have traditional eggs benedict, but what they had was even better: the Duck Confit Perogies. Two poached eggs on the perogies and topped with caramelized onions and truffle hollandaise. It was the most amazing brunch dish I have had. If it sounds rich, it was – especially after the cinnamon roll, but I would still recommend it.
