My current obsession is smoothie bowls – I just can’t get enough of them. Who’s with me? Maybe I’m just very influenced by instagram trends (that’s a possibility) but all I can think of is what combination of fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds am I going to combine to create the next delicious bowl. If you haven’t tried one, you need to get your blender out right now and all your instagram-worthy toppings.
At first I thought it was going to be weird, why not just drink the smoothie? First of all smoothies are very hard to get good, insta-worthy pictures of. But it’s really just like eating soup, thick soup.
And the combinations are endless. Usually I just use whatever I have in my kitchen, just how I would make any other smoothie. I add protein to mine because I use them as a snack/meal but that is completely up to you! Here are my favourite three at the moment. Just blend all the ingredients together and use the toppings to make it look pretty.
