Does anyone else first think of Carrie Bradshaw when you wear a tulle skirt? Or is that just me. Doesn’t matter how many years pass by that makes the graphics look worse and worse, Sex and the City will always be life #goals.
I was sitting with my friends the other day, and to describe someone’s life my girlfriend was like “You’re like Samantha, but just like less men.” And no one misses a beat to ask what that even means, everyone just gets it. Are you the Charolette or the Carrie of your friends? At the end of the day, I think we can all relate to Carrie; whether that be your intense passion for shoes, your can’t-get-over-him Mr. Big-like relationship, or your #girlboss independence when you wear tulle skirts.
If SATC taught us anything besides 90’s fashion, we learned that being an independent women is doable, challenging, and sexy.
“The most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And, if you find someone to love the you that you love, well, that’s just fabulous.” – C.B.
If you want to wear that ballerina skirt, then go for it. My mom made me this gorgeous skirt but you can find them everywhere. I really like the one from Adorn!
