The Starbucks Christmas cup has been released which means the Christmas season is officially upon us (we all know Starbucks dictates the seasons).  Bring on the gingerbread, twinkling lights, overwhelming store decor, and family gatherings. I usually don’t fully get into the Christmas spirit until after my birthday in December, but maybe because the fall went by so fast, I’m fully into the holidays right now (maybe it’s because I’m drinking an eggnog latte in a Starbucks Christmas cup). Either way, I’ve spent my morning planning all the fun holiday festivities I want to hit up this year, what I’m putting on the Christmas list and how I’m going to survive Christmas in Winnipeg.

If you don’t want to end up at the mall during the week leading up to Christmas (trust me, no one should expose themselves to that chaotic nightmare) get ahead of your Christmas list and support local at the upcoming artisan markets across the city (and outside of it). These are the Christmas markets that I will be at. I love that the Foothills Holiday Roadshow pass will get me into two of these markets, plus extra discounts at stores in Okotoks:
